Trying to access Marina Bay Sands’ Hotel Wifi can be a tricky process. My pals are enjoying a 2-night staycation at MBS and when I visited them yesterday, they asked for help regarding internet access. And it’s not even their first time staying at MBS! The way the log-in page for wifi access is designed is a little confusing. I’m sure the staff must have received many requests for help from hotel guests, but apparently nothing has been done to the page design.
When you go to Network Settings on your phone, and click on Marina Bay Sands, you’ll come to this log-in page:
Most people will click on the ‘Sands Rewards Lifestyle’ link in blue. But hotel guests should actually just click on ‘Free High-Speed Internet Access’ – it’s not just a header, it’s actually a link.
Then you’ll get to the Internet Access Login page, and you enter the password that’s written on your room key card case. It’ll be your room number + first 3 letters of your family name, e.g. 1111Tan.
People who already have a Sands Rewards Lifestyle membership, and click on the wrong link above, will get an error message after completing this form below. And let me just say that this makes the whole experience terribly frustrating.

I’m not sure why a 5-star hotel would have such an issue with wifi access. I would think that they’ll make logging on to the Internet a painfree, seamless experience for guests. But I suppose they might make some improvements before my pals return again next year for another staycation! (Let me ask them)
