If you don’t already know, Jack’s Place has Happy Hour 1-For-1 mains. Happy Hour is from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Actually I don’t know if the chefs are actually happy about this because it’s usually breathing space for them after the lunch crowd is gone and before dinner service begins. 
But if you’re OK with a late lunch or an early dinner, go take advantage of this promotion. I sure did. The most expensive item is the Mixed Grill ($24+) so we bought two of them this afternoon, as you can see in the picture above. It comes with cuts of beef, lamb and chicken, together with sausage and turkey bacon (not that I can tell it apart from regular bacon), a sunny side up egg, baked potato and veggies, and there’s also a slice of garlic bread.
I think it *may* be possible to place your order via telephone and then pay when you go pick up your meal(s). But we ordered in person today and interestingly, we waited only about 9 minutes at Jack’s Place in SAFRA Punggol. When the staff came over to hand me the bag containing our food, I actually asked her “So fast?” XD
It looks more appetizing on a nice plate, right?
This is my one and only Kate Spade plate. Everyone can have Kate Spade bags. But do you have a Kate Spade plate? 
And you know what? I found I really hate lamb. I actually took a bite and spat it out. (@_@)
But the beef’s awesome. Jack’s Place doesn’t overcook their beef, unlike at some other places. SO I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. And I really love the baked potato too! The egg was great – yolk was gooey in the middle.
I think the promotion lasts till the end of the month. But why wait? Go tomorrow!
