I’ve been ordering food via CDL’s eMall and I do usually order from F&B outlets in City Square Mall as I figured they’re closer to my home. BUT and this is a major one… I’ve discovered that there are awesome deals from F&B stores in Republic Plaza (also on the CDL eMall website). In the picture you see above, it’s one of the National Day specials from Saigon Rolls in Republic Plaza. There’s a ginormous salad (choose from Lemongrass Chicken, Sliced Beef and Mushroom Tofu) PLUS a premium roll (choose from Smoked Duck, Prawn and Smoked Salmon) PLUS a (delicious) lemongrass drink. And the WHOLE set costs just $5.65! As you can imagine, I’ve bought this set a couple of times. And I’ve placed my order for tomorrow too!

And now back to Saigon Rolls with the awesome $5.65 sets…
I could hardly believe my eyes when I spotted the fish broth being sold at $2 and $3 per pack. The Signature Batang Fish Broth is going at $2 only while the Tom Yum version costs one dollar more. And they don’t use any salt, MSG, preservatives, pork or lard! Just Batang fish bone, chicken, anchovies and soy beans.
I buy these packs to keep in the freezer so on days when it’s cold / rainy / ponding / flooding, I can keep warm at home with a good bowl of soup. Just add some tofu, veggies, mushrooms, noodles… an egg?! And that’s a perfect meal already!
Go get some. Won’t regret one.
