Visited Northpoint after dining at Real Food + Slow Bakes located at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. Northpoint is still confusing as ever, what with the North Wing and the South Wing. 
I guess this must be what people feel when they make the trip over to Waterway Point with its East Wing and West Wing, which we happen to be very familiar with. We were walking around within Northpoint when we chanced upon an IRVINS booth – yah, that one famous for its salted egg snacks! I spotted this standee and the poster says there’s 5% discount storewide plus… in that corner at the bottom right, you see it says FREE SCARF with every purchase! I checked with the staff and he confirmed that I can get a free scarf even if I purchase just one small item. Sweet. There are 2 designs. The one on top is really colourful and it’s the one I wanted. The other design basically features circles in black and yellow – IRVINS’ corporate colours. I definitely wanted the colourful one. If they had been out of stock, I would have walked away.
And you get a free jute bag if you purchase $40 worth of ‘Danger Lab Products’. Nah, don’t know what they are. Will let others try them first.
So I stuck to the familiar. Got a small bag of salted egg potato chips (105g) and it cost $7.60 after the 5% discount. But I did also get a 180g jar of this Danger Lab Sambal Shiok which supposedly goes very well with fried chicken… which is for my sis. It cost $9.50 after the discount.
And yes, I paid for these two items separately so I could receive two of the lovely scarves. Muahaha! One’s for you, sis!
If you’re wondering about the size of the scarf, it’s approximately 70cm x 70cm… quite big! Of course, you can twirl it all up and use it as a twilly on your handbag.
Very pleased with my purchase at IRVINS today! But I don’t think I’ll be able to find their booth again at Northpoint – the mall’s such a confusing maze.
