Back in Sept 2022, I told my pals that hey, tokiso’s an even better place to shop at (vs Daiso) as they offer very similar items at 3 for $5 (then). Now, it’s even cheaper at 3 for $4 (thanks for the update, Sis!) so there’s no reason not to visit if you live in the North-Eastern part of Singapore, ya? I overheard an employee talking to a customer today and apparently, the Government wants the land back so tokiso’s gotta leave/move? We’ve followed them from Ang Mo Kio to Serangoon North… and who knows where they’re headed next? In any case, the non-committal lady at the cashier counter today said this sale/pricing is while stocks last. 
Tokiso is located within S-mart, which is under the same roof as a petrol station. There are quite a few parking lots for those who drive but do not want to fuel up here. XD You can park for free if you’re going into S-mart or tokiso to shop.
Tokiso sells stuff which you can likely find in Daiso. But the main difference is the prices are much lower here, and you don’t have to add on the GST, which has already gone up if you don’t already know. 
And in the picture below’s my haul from today’s visit to tokiso: ziplock bags and food storage containers because having a kid means you do meal preps and need all these things, a pink folder, etc… and a skipping rope ‘cos it’s also the time we make our New Year’s Resolutions, right? Yup. XD
I don’t think you’ll need much convincing if you stay around the area. Just head to tokiso at 9A Serangoon North Ave 5. They open really early, and close real late so just Google if you need the details.
