The room would probably fit eight people comfortably? But there were just the two of us. Almost had to huddle together for warmth.
Their mic makes my voice sound a whole lot better! Apart from that, 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe has very attractive promotions, friendly and helpful staff, BIG rooms, fantastic sound, AND they even serve their drinks in mason jars with METAL STRAWS! The downside? It’s super cold (like winter wear would be appropriate here kind of cold), the snacks are served in tiny portions (like they’re feeding hamsters, not people here for 3-hour marathon singing sessions), lots of people will be staring at you via the see-through panel in the door (though they won’t really be able to hear your awesome singing voice), BUT you’ll be able to hear whomever’s singing out in the ‘cafe’ area where diners get a turn at karaoke too. I don’t know how this soundproofing thing works but I want to hear less of them singers outside, and more of me.
The $15 set lunch promo with 1hr free karaoke session seems like a bargain! Though I’m not quite sure if you have to eat within that 1 hr or not! How to multi-task like that?
In any case, there’s the $12 (per pax) Fave vouchers – 3 hours of singing plus 2 drinks and 1 round of snacks.

Probably the first business I’ve patronised that offers metal straws with their drinks. Thumbs up for them! Other businesses simply give up on straws altogether… like KFC.
Also noteworthy is their karaoke system. I like how there’s free wifi you can log on to, and also access their system using just your handphone alone. You can choose songs, add some to your list of Favorites (so the selection is already there the next time you pop by), and basically control everything from your phone. And… let me say that again… FREE WIFI!

EVERYONE’S gonna look through this panel… like you’re an exhibit in the zoo. To avoid getting self-conscious, make sure you’re not facing the door.
A major downside of this place is the see-through full-length panel in the door. No one walking past can resist the temptation to look through here. In terms of being annoying, on a scale of 1 to 10, it’s probably a high 8!
Yup, a stick-out-your-tongue moment for the high 8.
I like that they allow you to finish singing the very last song. In some other places I’ve been to, they’re really strict about time and the system will just cut you off when time’s up even though you’re still midway through a song, and you’re really feeling it, and your voice is sounding so good (just when the KTV session is ending). Here at 7th Heaven, they let you sing till the very last note, so go ahead and pick one of the really long songs as your final performance of the day. My fav is 劲歌金曲2.
Very nice cafe area out at the back…
Some diners will be horrible singers (don’t choke on your food!) and some will sound exactly like what’s in the MTVs. It’s a gamble. Just don’t order things like fishballs… which I’m not sure whether they sell here or not.
Overall, a really nice place to hang out and chill. Because it’s so cold (or maybe that’s just an excuse), the restrooms are plagued by cigarette smoke. Everyone just blatantly disregards the No Smoking signs, so NEA should definitely pop by this place to check. Thus, I really wouldn’t recommend people bring young children here because these young ones will always have to visit the washrooms, right? For adults, if you can hold in your pee and use the restroom on another level, then all’s fine.
