Bought 2 mains, received 2 kid’s meals 
We had a most yummy and filling lunch today. Got takeaway from Professor Brawn Cafe, one of my favorite cafes. Their special promotion offering a free kid’s meal with every main purchased will end on 11 May. I sure hope they extend it! 
We had Bangers & Rosti ($15.90) and Grilled Chicken w/Truffle Sauce ($13.90) and selected 2 free meals: Battered Fish & Chips and Spaghetti + Bangers. The kid’s meals are priced at $9.90 each. So this promo offers really good value for money!
I was truly surprised at how tasty the kid’s meals are. Can’t believe we got them for free!
As for my rosti, it’s delicious as always, though today’s version was a little too charred around the edges. The cheese sausage was great though it made me miss the black pepper version which I was told has been removed from the menu (!!!) However, I have to say that the grilled chicken was disappointing. The chicken skin’s all soggy (not the chef’s fault) and the meat wasn’t very tasty – a bit more seasoning might do the trick. But there’s this empty space in the box (which I’ve drawn a pink arrow pointing to) which I wish they’d put the potato wedges in, instead of under the chicken. ‘Cos by the time we got home, the wedges were no longer crispy. They were looking rather sad from having the chicken sit on them all the way home.
Our order was placed at about 11.45am and it was ready by 11.56am. I was actually very impressed! There are hardworking and very efficient chefs here! Also, while we were waiting, the lady at the cashier (and the young man working with her) actually brought out chairs for my darling and me to sit on. Such initiative and care for the customer. Love love love them.
The meal cost $29.80 in total. And it’s so worth it. Even more so if you have two kids at home. Haha! Parents, definitely visit by 11th May k!
