Mooncakes for Hamsters?! I Got Some For Wasabi.

This year, I’ve spent a grand total of $2 on mooncakes… for human consumption. 😀 It’s a traditional baked ‘durian lotus seed paste’ mooncake that I got from a neighbourhood bakery. Meanwhile, I’ve also bought mooncakes for my hamster, Wasabi. Got them from Fatpouches, which I’ve blogged about before. The company had to bake multiple rounds of their hamster-friendly mooncakes as people were losing their minds over them. I’d missed the launch of the Fatpouches mooncakes, but because people were complaining that they did not manage to grab a pack / the items were ‘snatched’ out of their digital shopping carts by others who checked out quicker, the company opened pre-orders and I got in. 😀 Basically it’s $5 for 15 tiny mooncakes for hamsters, and I paid $2 for normal postage.

Very reliable when it comes to postage / delivery. I highly recommend Fatpouches. 🙂

So… what did Wasabi think about the mooncakes? OK, I won’t actually know what she’d thought of them… but… she didn’t eat them. (@_@)

She was more interested in sniffing my fingers because I’d previously eaten salted egg potato chips from IRVINS. LOL.

Somebody, please stop me from spending my money on hamster treats!!!

I’ve kind of struck the lottery with this hamster. She doesn’t like expensive treats. She adores the (cheap) sunflower seeds. She doesn’t bite the ‘furniture’ in her cage. She doesn’t try to escape – all the other hamsters I’ve had in the past were escape artists. But I’ve never had to try and locate a missing Wasabi.

Also, despite her name, she’s not very adventurous when it comes to food. Cute, right? Hahaha!
