I know you see a lot of Forever Friends bears in the picture above but yes, they are all from the Times warehouse sale, which I went to today. 
It actually started yesterday but I’d forgotten to go. LOL! (Can Times please invite me to a media preview the next time? XD) Anyway, I bought lots of bears as they’re so cheap (tell you the prices in a bit) and the two black Times plastic bags at the back are from the Grab-All-You-Can-For-$25 Room. I paid $50 and stuffed 38 books into the 2 bags. So each book ended up costing just $1.32! Cheap-cheap-cheap-sorry. XD
About the bears: the big one cost $8 and the smaller ones are all at $3 each. Even if you have no idea why you need so many bears, just buy them first. Can give away for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, whatever!
We popped by in the middle of the afternoon so there weren’t too many people but parking is a pain. The security guard WILL NOT LET YOU PARK within the compound so try and find a lot along the road (on the other side). When you enter via the gates (on foot, of course), make sure you go to the security guardhouse and REGISTER first. Then walk to the main entrance and do the SafeEntry checks (1st round). Then you walk up some stairs to the second level and do the second round of SafeEntry checks before you can enter the “warehouse sale” area. It’s not a real warehouse, per se. It was quite obviously an office but we were so glad for the aircon and many standing fans around, which a real warehouse might not have.
So ignore everything you see and just head straight to the special room for the $25 Grab Bags. Some of the titles you see in here are also available on the tables outside but you pay less in here when you stuff as many items as you can into a bag for $25!

The books outside of this room are not very expensive either. I spotted ‘Woman on top’ by Dr Loretta Chen ($5), #flushablefashion by Jian Yang ($$7), Deco Chiffon Cakes by Susanne Ng ($11), among others. And there are Star Wars sets at $10! I’m not sure why I need to buy one, but I sure did. LOL.
Before I forget… this warehouse sale has so many different things that it’s more than just about books. There are schoolbags, toys, water bottles, MORE TOYS, stationery, travel accessories, etc. Just like walking into a Times bookstore… but cheaper.
This John Green boxset of 5 cost just $20. And take note of the colored stickers (square or round) on the books and their respective prices.
So I picked this book titled ‘WHEN: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing’… that comes with a free sticky notepad as it was supposed to be on sale for $3… worth it, right?
But after the payment, I realised I was charged something like $14.95 for this book. Luckily I checked the receipt! So I popped back in and the staff were so apologetic. Got the previous transaction voided, and made the right payment this time. *Some of the discounted prices have not been updated in the system, so it would be wise to have your (hp) calculator ready and punch in the numbers each time you put an item into your shopping basket, and if it tallies at the checkout, then you pay.
As a Times Rewards member, you’ll also get a free tote bag if you spend above $80 at this warehouse sale. They gave me a toy and a picture book about Singapore (full color and very chio) too.
I also received a $5 discount voucher for my next $30 purchase at a Times bookstore but heh… I’m not sure I’ll use it. After all, I already have SO MANY books to read WLE.
