Bought bubble tea from KOI this morning because we can now get $10 Timezone game credits when we spend $10 in a single receipt at KOI. And I made sure I checked with the staff regarding the availability of the free gift (Timezone card) BEFORE I placed my order. Why? Once bitten, twice shy. There was an earlier campaign regarding their fruity sparkling drink series and I was happily collecting the cup sleeves which doubled up as scratch cards. Then one day, at the Hougang Mall outlet, I’d paid some $9.30 for a drink (yes, ONE drink) when I was told the cup sleeves were out of stock. WHAT???!!! There was no signage to indicate that. I messaged KOI and was given one of those “Thank you for your support” kind of replies which sounded like “too bad you didn’t check first / our stuff is too popular”. 
So… I secretly blacklisted KOI thereafter. Hahaa!
Anyway… I got my free Timezone card, which I’ll utilise after the school holidays. Ha!
In other news… I Love Taimei is coming back to Waterway Point! Sweet! They shut the outlet previously and the space was taken by some stall selling Korean food which probably did really poorly so now they’re gone, and I Love Taimei is coming back! I suspect their neighbour, XDCR, will be next to go, as… isn’t the salted egg craze over already?
