This morning, I was telling my darling that we should have a late lunch at WaterDrop Teahouse after work today. And interestingly enough, I then spotted an FB post by my pal Jimmy about how he was there for lunch too! Haha. Great minds think alike! I guess we both know that the Pearl Milk Tea is available only on weekends! 😀 Today, we ordered the all-time favourite Rendang Rice and tried for the first time, the Burger + French Fries set you see in the picture above. The fries were hot – so delish – and the burger was surprisingly good! Even the salad at the side had some sort of mango dressing which was unusual but in a palatable way. 😉

Burger + fries cost $6 and the Rendang Rice cost $5.50:

The rice is a little dry but they do provide a small bowl of soup so that’s fine.

We also ordered the Rojak ($3.50) which is always enjoyable…

And when I was in the queue to place my order, I heard the guy in front of me ask the cashier for the Pearl Milk Tea. And the lady was a little worried, and asked her colleague if there was any milk tea left. The latter replied that there was enough for one last cup. I was silently freaking out then. WHATTTTT?!!! One last cup and it’s not mine?! Before I could bite the guy in front (haha), the lady then said that oh she found another tub/container (I’m not sure if she was referring to the pearls or the milk tea) but anyway, that meant they could produce many more cups of Pearl Milk Tea. PHEW!~

So long story short, I bought two cups (one to drink on the spot and another for takeaway!) As we’ve suspected all along… it DOES seem like you get more milk tea in the takeaway cup. *wink* Anyway they cost the same – $3.50 – and there’s no extra charge for takeaway (for the drinks).

The pearls are so soft and chewy. I highly recommend getting the Pearl Milk Tea when you pop by on weekends. 🙂 Just don’t take the last cup if you’re in the queue ahead of me OK. When I’m hungry, I might just bite you!
