Had a most satisfying lunch at Swensen’s just now. Had tenderloin steak for my birthday lunch and paired it with yummy steak fries (I LOVE THESE!) and their garden veg. Had wanted to order 2 servings of the steak fries since I know they’re awesome but… my darling said his main dish would also come with fries so won’t there be too many? Hmm… as it turned out… I should have gotten 2 servings. Haha! For the steak, I wanted it done ‘medium’ but… about half of it was medium-well and the other half medium-rare with the juices oozing out. My darling (probably still half-asleep) said that the patty in his burger wasn’t undercooked and there were no animal juices oozing out. I gave him the (@_@) look because his was an Impossible burger. It’s not real meat so how would it ‘behave’ the same way as my steak? XD
Yes, this really tastes like actual animal protein so… even meat lovers cannot tell the difference:

AND… for once, I don’t have to pay for the Sticky Chewy Chocolate sundae because it’s my birthday and as a Swensen’s member, I get free ice cream. Wheeeeeeeeee!~

And for the cherry on top, I received Whatsapp notifications from the courier who sent some flowers to my home. Interestingly, the card did not state the sender’s name. Hur hur. Who ah?! Who sent me flowers?!

So I sent a pal a Whatsapp msg with a flower emoji and ‘kamsahamnida’. She replied with “Photo!” I’m a genius. Also… I don’t have secret admirers. Boohooo~~ These flowers are so chio, and smell so good. THANKEW VERI MUCHIE!
And in unrelated news…
I spotted pots of Basil and KALE (!) being sold at FairPrice Finest in Thomson Plaza. So if you want to know where you can buy potted kale in Singapore, this is it:

Almost bought some… but I realised I wanted bubble tea more. Maybe when I’m 40, I’ll start eating more kale. Wahaha!
