I visited the ISETAN Momiji Matsuri at NEX yesterday, hoping to get some delectable dessert perhaps in the form of a soft serve. Alas! There was everything from jellies to beer, and Japanese fruit too, but I did not spot any soft serve machines. (If I’d missed one, please let me know). In any case, this event will end on 30th Oct so visit while you can. It’s at the Level 1 NEX Atrium. In the picture above, you see many people crowding around the very first stall on the right. It sells fruit jelly and the promoters hand out free samples. I found it quite funny how the samples are in small jelly cups you can simply squeeze into your (open) mouth and yet they give you a spoon too. Haha! Maybe ‘cos they might be slightly pricey so… eat slowly ah.
Unagi Bentos at $15.80 each…

Mini Taiyaki at $9 for 16 pcs:

As I’d already had lunch before popping by, I didn’t feel extremely tempted to purchase anything. If you come here with an empty stomach though, you might end up with a hole in your wallet too as prices are a little steep… like what you’d expect to pay in Japan. Muahaha! But if you can afford it, why not?
