I’ve never seen a more adorable kid in a carseat, and I may be biased. Hehehe! Anyway, we took Melody to IKEA Tampines this week – we did all the eating and she did some snoozing. Then we went to check out what is possibly the best prawn noodle stall in all of Sengkang.
First up… IKEA:

I’d totally order this again. The chicken leg is large and meaty. IKEA states they use indoor cage-free chickens too. And I basically loved everything else on the plate, lah. No wonder the restaurant is packed even on weekdays!
And we also bought the Baked Chicken Chop w/Fries and Nordic cold drink ($5.50 weekday lunch promo) and 12-pc Swedish Meatballs ($8.90)…

There’s a Nursing Room next to the Restaurant so that’s where we headed after our meal. There was just one seat within. And one diaper changing station. Probably insufficient when lots of families come by… but thankfully we were the only ones in here.

Also… one washbasin with a water dispenser above:

But wait… look here! There’s free baby food for those who are 6 months and above! Melody just has to wait till she’s older. Ha!

We gave her a tour of IKEA and her Papa introduced her to almost all the stuffed animals. But she wasn’t impressed by any one of them. Hahaha!

For an early dinner that day, we headed to this Big Prawn Noodle stall at 205D Compassvale Lane. The broth is just… amazeballs.

I’d say this is even better than the prawn noodles at the Blanco Prawn Noodle House at Jln Kayu. The pork ribs are so tender. But really… the star is that broth. Definitely worth making a special trip to Compassvale for this!
